Children, Youth and Family Consortium (CYFC)

CYFC provides extensive information on research, programs and publications relating to children, youth and family relationships and early childhood development. The site includes links to community programs and resources, a database of experts, and information on policy issues. Midwest Institute for Telecommuting Education (MITE)

MITE has 17 years of experience in advising employees with disabilities on how to move to either PT or FT remote work options in their existing jobs. The Staying On the Job program works specifically with employees who are experiencing difficulties in keeping their jobs due to disability challenges.  The employee chooses the approach that best preserves his/her dignity and confidentiality. A team approach is also coordinated among the employee, human resources and the supervisor to develop a flexible solution that meets the job and ADA requirements

MN Child Care Resource & Referral Network

The Minnesota Child Care Resource and Referral Network is a non-profit, tax-exempt organization coordinating and supporting a statewide system of 22 Child Care Resource and Referral Agencies dedicated to enhancing the quality and availability of child care in Minnesota. The Network can assist employers and help parents make informed choices about child care. The web site lists local CCR&R contacts and programs around Minnesota. National Fatherhood Initiative (NFI)

The NFI was founded in 1994 to lead a society-wide movement to confront the problem of father absence. NFI's mission is to improve the well-being of children by increasing the proportion of children growing up with involved, responsible, and committed fathers. Working Family Resource Center

The Working Family Resource Center (WFRC) provides educational workshops and seminars at business sites to assist families (employees) with work and home life issues to a wide range of employers across Minnesota. The center publishes Life Balance Digest, an award winning newsletter with information on parenting and families for employees. Life Balance Digest is a unique way for employers to provide information on personal, family, and consumer issues for their employees. WFRC is a business/educational partnership sponsored by the Saint Paul Public Schools.
